Studio Policy
Momentum Pilates is a private, appointment-based reformer Pilates studio. Because each session reserves the studio and instructor specifically for you, we ask that all clients review the following policies before booking.
By purchasing or booking a session, package, or membership, you agree to the applicable studio policies and terms presented at checkout.
Booking & Reservations
All sessions are by appointment and must be reserved in advance.

Appointments are subject to studio availability. We recommend booking ahead, particularly for preferred recurring times.
Â
Your reservation is for the specific client who booked it and may not be transferred to another person without prior approval from Momentum Pilates.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans change.

Please cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours before your scheduled session.
Â
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice are considered late cancellations and will:
-
be charged in full if booked as an individual session; or
-
be deducted from the applicable package or membership.
Â
No-shows are treated as late cancellations.
Â
Momentum Pilates may make exceptions in unusual circumstances at its discretion.
Â
This 24-hour studio policy does not limit any cancellation or refund rights provided by applicable Florida law.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time so you can enjoy your full session.

If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time so the studio can remain on schedule for other clients.
Â
Clients arriving too late to safely or meaningfully complete the session may forfeit the appointment.
Private Reformer Pilates Sessions
Individual Sessions
Â
Individual private reformer pilates sessions are valid only for the period stated at the time of purchase.
Â
Unless otherwise specified, a purchased session must be scheduled and used within 30 days of purchase.
Â
Sessions are nontransferable.

Once a session has been provided, it is nonrefundable except where otherwise required by law.
Â
3-Session Packages

Three-session packages are intended to support consistent practice and should be used within the validity period stated when purchased.
Â
Unless otherwise specified:
All three sessions must be used within 30 days of purchase.
Â
Unused sessions expire at the end of the package period unless Momentum Pilates agrees to an extension or applicable law requires otherwise.
Â
Packages are for the purchaser's individual use and may not be shared or transferred.
Â
Momentum Membership
Â
The Momentum Membership includes the number of private sessions and benefits described on the Sessions & Pricing page and in the Membership Agreement presented at enrollment.
Â
Membership sessions:
-
are reserved for the individual member;
-
must be scheduled in advance;
-
are subject to the 24-hour cancellation policy; and
-
are subject to the usage and expiration terms stated in the Membership Agreement.
Â
Members are encouraged to schedule sessions early in each billing period to secure preferred appointment times.
Â
If Momentum Pilates cancels a session or cannot provide a session that was properly scheduled, the affected session will not be forfeited.
Billing & Cancellation
Membership fees are automatically charged according to the billing schedule disclosed at enrollment.

Any minimum commitment, renewal terms, cancellation procedure, and effective cancellation date will be clearly stated in the Membership Agreement before purchase.
Â
Membership cancellation requests must be submitted according to the instructions in that agreement.
Â
Nothing in Momentum Pilates' membership terms limits cancellation or refund rights provided by Florida law.
Unused Sessions
Except where otherwise stated in the applicable package or Membership Agreement, sessions must be used within their designated validity period.

Expired sessions generally do not carry forward and have no cash value.
Â
Sessions canceled by Momentum Pilates will be restored or extended as appropriate.
Refunds
Purchases are generally nonrefundable once services have been provided.
Â
Refunds for unused services will be provided when required by applicable Florida law or when otherwise expressly stated in the applicable purchase agreement.
Â
Approved refunds will be returned to the original form of payment whenever reasonably possible.
Florida Health Studio Consumer Rights
Momentum Pilates respects all consumer rights provided under Florida law.

Where Florida's Health Studio Act applies to a purchase or membership, applicable agreements will include the disclosures and cancellation rights required by law.
Health & Safety
Please tell your instructor before your session about any injury, recent surgery, pregnancy, physical limitation, or other circumstance that may affect your ability to exercise safely.

Momentum Pilates provides Pilates and fitness instruction and does not diagnose medical conditions or provide medical treatment, physical therapy, or medical advice.
Â
If you have a medical condition, are recovering from an injury or surgery, or are uncertain whether Pilates is appropriate for you, please consult an appropriate healthcare professional before participating.
Â
Clients are responsible for communicating discomfort, pain, dizziness, or other concerns during a session.
Studio Etiquette
To maintain a clean, calm, private environment:
-
Please wear appropriate exercise clothing.
-
Grip socks are recommended and may be required for certain activities.
-
Please treat studio equipment with care.
-
Food is not permitted around Pilates equipment.
-
Only the scheduled client may participate unless Momentum Pilates has approved otherwise.
-
Children and guests should not accompany clients unless arranged in advance.
-
Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and illegal substances are not permitted in the studio.

Momentum Pilates reserves the right to end a session or restrict studio access when necessary to protect client, instructor, or equipment safety.
Open Studio
Momentum Open Studio is a separate member benefit available only to eligible and approved members.
Â
Open Studio involves self-directed use of Pilates equipment without instructor-led programming or supervision and therefore requires additional eligibility criteria, rules, acknowledgments, and a separate agreement.

Open Studio access is not automatically included simply because a person purchases a membership.
Changes to Studio Policies
Momentum Pilates may update its general Studio Policies from time to time.
Â
Changes will apply prospectively and will not eliminate contractual or statutory rights that have already accrued.
Â
The terms applicable to a package or membership purchase will be those provided in the applicable agreement at the time of purchase, except where changes are permitted by that agreement or required by law.
